City Bustle & Island Idyll Rallye
Every Rallye is unique On a multifaceted across town Puzzle Tour, playfully discover the historical attractions on offer, and learn about the essential background behind Berlin’s many surprising peculiarities.

Team spirit, thinking and looking “out of the box”, creativity, subtlety, are the keys to solving sophisticated problems and exercises, and fulfilling interactive missions.

Number of participants
The city rally for groups from 6 to 30 people.

Start, Goal & Duration
Groups set out from the Berliner Dom and end up at Insel Berlin, formerly known as Insel der Jugend (Island of Youth).

For the team-up we need about 15 minutes. The teams start one after the other. The two rally parts take at least 1.5 hours each. For the briefing of the canoes, 30 minutes should also be calculated. The evaluation & award ceremony, which takes about 45 minutes, can take place e.g. at a cosy grill.

The concept
The city bustle & island rallye starts out from the Berliner Dom. First up teams get to experience the lively happenings of Berlin Mitte, making their way around both on foot and with the occasional use of public transport. The goal is to sleuth your way to Urbanhafen in “Kreuzkölln” (approx. 1.5 hours).

Then begins the idyllic part of the Rallye, you get in your canoes, get set and go! You paddle from, Kreuzberg to Treptow. On the last stretch of water is the scene for a team race to the lovely Insel Berlin (approx. 1.5 hours).

At the end of the race you can celebrate in nature. How better to celebrate the prize-giving ceremony while gazing joyfully at the starry sky of the big city? Language: German

FAQ - Questions and Answers

Weather and Outdoors
What counts as bad weather? Bad weather is relative and depends more so on your clothing and equipment (bring an umbrella!) than on personal attitudes. To us objectively bad weather is when the activities have become dangerous because of thunderstorms for example. In such cases you can either postpone or cancel the Rallye. Participate in the next Rallye or get your money back – it’s up to you!

Fitness
How fit must participants be?
Not a bit! We assure you that no high-level sports performances are required! The most important thing is to have fun guessing, questioning, testing yourself, making up rhymes, combining concepts and learning.
